WORKSHOPS

Pre and post-show workshops (at the theatre, or at your school, you pick!) are led by professional Artist Educators and are fun, smart and engaging. They are often lead by Theatre Smash artists (perhaps the actors your cast just saw on stage), and can be built around Theatre Smash's current production or other curriculum based themes. Specifics of the workshops are always tailor-made for each school.

ADJUDICATION SERVICE - NEW!

This new program is inspired by our memories of being adjudicated at student drama festivals. These experiences were invaluable, helping to shape us into the theatre artists we are today.  At Theatre Smash, we are able to provide this service for any high-school presentation, audition exercise, process oriented work or final project.  A professional artist will attend your classroom presentation and provide 20-minutes of detailed feedback for your students.

We are taking booking reservations throughout the summer and fall for the beginning of the school year. Contact for information.

IN CONVERSATION - NEW!

As a direct result of the feedback we have received from educators and students, we are delighted to introduce In Conversation. Working with Theatre Smash, we can connect a professional actor, designer, director or producer to engage in a comprehensive discussion about the theatre industry with your class. A professional will lead students through an open conversation, as well as provide students with a take-away resource sheet of arts-based student volunteer opportunities in Toronto.

We are taking booking reservations throughout the summer and fall for the beginning of the school year. Contact for information.

SPECIAL FREE OFFER - NEW!

With support from TD Canada Trust, any schools within Toronto's priority neighbourhoods are able to receive FREE workshops, In Conversation and Adjudication Services, as well as free tickets and transportation to our performances. Contact for information.
